Fiorentina player Niccolò Pierozzi, has reportedly been put on the January transfer market by the club, according to the Italian sports newspaper, Corriere dello Sport.
The report suggests that Pierozzi’s game time by coach Vincenzo Italiano has been limited in this first part of the season, prompting this move.
It was further reported that Fiorentina would be willing to transfer the young player permanently. Both Hellas Verona and Salernitana were among the teams said to be interested in him.
Finally, the series B side Cremonese is said to be highly interested in acquiring Pierozzi, signalling potential sweeping change for the player’s career.
