Fiorentina coach, Vincenzo Italiano, has communicated his thoughts and plans with the club’s official channels ahead of their match against Torino.
Italiano spoke about spending a peaceful Christmas with their families but emphasised on the need to keep aiming high on the league tables. “We must continue to dream and float in these league positions. Things are doing well, it isn’t time to deject,” Italiano stated. He suggested the importance of the forthcoming match and didn’t downplay the threat of the Serie A holds for his team.
Looking towards the fans, he called upon them for their usual support at Stadio Artemio Franchi, the home of Fiorentina. Directly quoting Italiano, he said, “I hope there is the usual atmosphere at Franchi. La Fiesole and the entire stadium must push us, give us a big hand as always.”
The Fiorentina coach also recognises Torino’s prowess led by a formidable coach and strong players. He said, “Torino has a great coach and strong players. Tomorrow will be a difficult test, we must try to do our best.”
The exciting news for Fiorentina is that they will regain Giacomo Bonaventura and Lucas Martínez Quarta, who has recovered from the flu, for the following match. Italiano confirmed, “For tomorrow we recover Bonaventura, Quarta that has ended the flu.
