Fiorentina has finalised a deal that will see Josip Brekalo moving to Hajduk Split.
Renowned Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has informed that Italian club Fiorentina has reached an agreement with Hajduk Split for a loan deal involving Josip Brekalo. The deal concludes at the end of the season.
According to the deal, the Croatian club will pay Fiorentina a €200,000 loan fee for a duration of six months in addition to covering the player’s wages. Considering the strong interest from Olympiacos, this transfer can be seen as a notable victory for Hajduk Split.
For Josip Brekalo, a Flamengo Zagreb Academy product, this signifies a homecoming to the Croatian league.
