Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà discussed Juventus’ interest in Lewis Ferguson in his editorial on Sportitalia.
He made it clear that the Juve has set their sights on Ferguson. He stressed the potential of the player aligning with the club’s standard was quite a straightforward factual observation.
Pedullà said, “We would be unreliable if we said that he does not fit the standard expected by Juve”. He specified that this is a topic that currently doesn’t require discussion but could become relevant in the upcoming summer window. Pedullà was quoted on Sportitalia as saying.
The sports journalist further insinuated that Ferguson would still be a prime target for Juventus irrespective of whether the club continues with Allegri at the helm or if Thiago Motta were to join the Turin club. Pedullà added, saying it wasn’t outlandish to think Motta was one of the top names being followed by Juve, whilst mentioning that everything else was premature at this point.
