In an announcement appearing on the official website of Hellas Verona, the “gialloblù” have revealed a change in referee for their match against Inter. The original referee, Piccinini, will not be officiating and will be replaced by Fabbri.
The statement revealed by Hellas Verona FC stated: “Hellas Verona FC announces the change of the referee designation for the Inter-Hellas Verona match, valid for the 19th day of the Serie A TIM 2023/24, scheduled for Saturday, January 6 at 12.30, at the ‘Giuseppe Meazza’ stadium.”
The referee will be Michael Fabbri from the AIA section of Ravenna. Assisting him will be Luigi Rossi from the AIA section of Rovigo, and Alessandro Cipressa from the Lecce section. Serving as the fourth official will be Matteo Gualtieri from the AIA section of Asti. In the VAR room will be Luigi Nasca from the AIA section of Bari, with Rodolfo Di Vuolo from the AIA section of Castellammare di Stabia acting as the assistant VAR.
