Eriksson confident: ‘Scudetto battle? Here’s who will win’

Former Lazio coach, Sven-Goran Eriksson, has recently discussed the ongoing Serie A title race between Inter and Juventus. This conversation was reported in the Italian publication, Libero.

Eriksson’s direct quote was, “Who can win the scudetto this year? Inter is a great team”. Eriksson has suggested acclamation for the Inter team, reinforcing their potential for winning the Serie A title.

Along with this, the former Lazio manager also reflected on his career regrets. Whilst Eriksson did not explicitly mention having regrets, he did express a lost dream of his, stating “My dream would have been to coach Liverpool but now it’s too late”.

Following his revelation, Eriksson elaborated further, “I have been a Liverpool fan since I was little”. His lifelong fanhood for the Liverpool club sheds light on his unfulfilled wish of coaching the team.
