In the months following his retirement, Swiss midfielder Blerim Dzemaili opens up about his future. Speaking to Blick, Dzemaili shared his thoughts on a possible path ahead.
He recently had the chance to observe a training session of his son’s and was struck by how much the coach seemed to be enjoying himself. This observation has made him reevaluate his position.
Although he never intended to become a coach, Dzemaili now believes he might consider this path. He has spent the last several months visiting various clubs around Europe, engaging with numerous coaches and sports directors to gather information.
As quoted by Blick, Dzemaili said, “From January, I am open to evaluating interesting projects”. This indicates a willingness on the player’s part to potentially explore coaching opportunities post retirement.
