Tiago Fernandes, former coach of Djalo, has praised the player’s technical skills, urging the youngster to consider a proposal from Inter Milan.
Speaking to Sportitalia, Fernandes, who coached Djalo at Sporting Lisbon, shed light on the player’s skills, amid ongoing summer transfer market speculation.
Addressing Inter Milan’s 3-5-2 game system, Fernandes stated, “I think it would be a good system of play to utilise him, he would adapt perfectly. I see him being effective as the right wing-back in the three at the back system, particularly because he is very good at building the game, controlling the ball and moving it around, not to mention starting offensive action.”
Moreover, he highlighted Djalo’s attacking skills. “He has an excellent ability to decide how to manage the ball in the opposing half of the field and has a good pass between the lines for the attackers. And when he loses it, he is very fast to run back to recover it,” Fernandes added.
