De Rossi hints Dybala free to leave Roma if he wishes

Daniele De Rossi, the head coach of Roma, has addressed the potential departure of Paulo Dybala following a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, De Rossi expressed his thoughts on Dybala’s future at the club amid speculation fuelled by the substantial offer.

“The offer from Saudi Arabia is incredibly tempting for any player,” De Rossi mentioned, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

He acknowledged the player’s value to the team, stating, “Paulo is a key player for us, and his departure would be a significant loss.”

De Rossi also conveyed his understanding of the player’s situation, adding, “It’s not easy for him to ignore such an offer, given what it means financially and career-wise.”

The coach highlighted the emotional aspect, saying, “We have built something special here with Paulo, and it would be heartbreaking to see him leave.”

De Rossi remains hopeful, yet realistic, concluding, “We want him to stay, but ultimately, it’s his decision to make.”
