Porto’s President Pinto Da Costa resigns himself to Iranian striker’s switch to Milan’s Inter
The summer transfer market for Inter Milan has already kicked off. The zero-cost signings of Piotr Zielinski from Napoli and Mehdi Taremi from Porto are nearly done deals. Da Costa, the President of the Portuguese club, has spoken about the Iranian player’s farewell in an interview with A Bola.
On TAREMI – Da Costa stated, “They’re all important, not just Taremi. Whoever is playing is most vital at the moment. Such is life, Taremi, like any other player, as happens at many big clubs, like PSG… The players’ contracts expire and they are free to choose their own destiny. We can do nothing, we can only wish them happiness.”
The President of Porto’s remarks hold key indication that Taremi’s move to Inter Milan is imminent and unstoppable. This transfer will likely bring new dynamics to the Inter Milan squad in their quest for glory in the coming season.
