In a sensational revelation by the Catalan newspaper, ‘Sport’, Barcelona are reportedly eyeing Antonio Conte as their new manager after the departure of Xavi at the end of the season.
Antonio Conte, the ex-Juventus and Inter manager, is said to be firmly in Barcelona’s sights as they plan a replacement for Xavi. The respected Italian is believed to have shown an openness to the possibility of managing the Catalan club.
However, it seems Conte may not be the Blaugrana’s first choice. According to reports, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp is higher on the wish list of Barcelona’s key decision-makers, Deco and Laporta.
But Barcelona aren’t the only club being linked with the Italian. Conte is also reportedly facing significant pressure from AC Milan.
