Conte again says ‘no’ to De Laurentiis at Napoli: the reason

Antonio Conte, former Juventus coach, has reportedly once again rejected a proposal from Aurelio De Laurentiis to join Napoli mid-season.

According to Italian publication Il Mattino, club boss De Laurentiis tabled a three-year contract offer to Conte, worth eight million euros annually. However, the deal included a clause that would allow for termination within six months if matters did not progress well.

Even with such lucrative terms, Conte is said to have declined the proposal.
