Mattia Collauto, former sporting director of Venezia, has commented on the potential transfer of Tanner Tessmann to Fiorentina.
Collauto discussed Tessmann, who has become a primary target for Fiorentina following Inter’s withdrawal from the race, during an interview on Radio Viola.
“The Fiorentina environment is a better fit for him than Inter,” said Collauto on Radio Viola.
He explained that Fiorentina’s recent focus on developing young talent would be beneficial for Tessmann’s growth as a player.
“At Fiorentina, Tessmann would have more opportunities to play and improve his game,” Collauto added.
The ex-director emphasized the importance of regular playing time for young talents, something he feels Fiorentina can offer more readily than a high-profile club like Inter.
Collauto’s insights suggest that Fiorentina’s long-term vision aligns well with Tessmann’s career trajectory, making the move ideal for both the player and the club.
As the transfer window progresses, it remains to be seen whether Fiorentina’s pursuit of Tessmann will come to fruition.
Collauto’s comments have certainly added fuel to the ongoing speculation surrounding the young American midfielder’s future.
