Chiellini to be awarded Silver Gonfalon in Tuscany

Former Juventus and Italian national team defender, Giorgio Chiellini, will be honoured with the ‘Silver Gonfalon’ from the Tuscany region. The ceremony will take place tomorrow in Chiellini’s birthplace, Livorno, the town in the Tuscany region.

Chiellini is poised to embark on a new journey, likely to involve an administrative role with Juventus.

The prestigious award, the highest honour from the Legislative Assembly of Tuscany, will be presented to him at 11:30am.

Tuscany’s Regional Council President Antonio Mazzeo will present the award in the ceremony hall of Livorno’s town hall. Livorno’s Mayor, Luca Salvetti, will also be present at the ceremony.
