Carragher criticises Chelsea’s excessive spending, questions decision-makers’ judgement.

Jamie Carragher has voiced strong criticism against Chelsea’s excessive transfer activities, stating that the squad is too large and expressing bewilderment over why players continue to accept offers from the club.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, the former Liverpool stalwart and now a prominent pundit, Carragher, did not hold back his views.

“The squad is too long. I don’t understand why players accept their offers,” Carragher said during the show.

His remarks reflect growing concern within the football community about Chelsea’s seemingly relentless buying spree.

“They need to stop acquiring new players,” he added, punctuating his critique with a call for action.
