Calhanoglu turns down ‘monstrous’ offer from Arabia

Hakan Calhanoglu, the star midfielder of Inter Milan, continues to gain attention from around the globe, reportedly even receiving a giant offer from Saudi Arabian team Al Hilal.

According to Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turkish footballer was offered a whopping 18 million euros per season contract from Al Hilal.

However, Calhanoglu, key player under the management of Simone Inzaghi, is said to have calmly turned down the lucrative offer, choosing to stay in Milan.

It seems then that Inter Milan will continue to benefit from the skills of one of their prized players, Calhanoglu, despite the temptation of an astronomical sum. Given his recent performances and his devotion to the club, it’s no surprise that he’s attracting such attention and bids from other professional football clubs.
