Borussia Dortmund, following their Champions League final defeat, have turned their focus to the transfer market. The German giants are set to compete with AC Milan for the signature of Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy.
After the disappointment of losing the Champions League final, Borussia Dortmund are keen to move forward and begin planning for the upcoming season.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Borussia Dortmund have identified their top two priorities in the transfer market.
One of these is securing the services of Serhou Guirassy, a striker currently playing for Stuttgart.
Romano stated, “Borussia Dortmund are determined to bring in fresh talent after their Champions League setback.” He further added, “The club is looking to bolster their attacking options, and Guirassy is high on their list.”
Meanwhile, AC Milan are also reportedly interested in the 27-year-old forward, setting the stage for a potential bidding war between the two clubs.
Romano also highlighted that Dortmund’s management is eager to finalise their transfer targets promptly, to allow the new players to integrate seamlessly before the start of the next season.
