Bologna’s defender, Riccardo Calafiori, has given an exclusive interview to Sky Sport ahead of their Serie A match against Roma.
Calafiori, who mostly plays as a centre-back this season, expressed his comfort in his new position. He also appreciated the welcoming approach from his teammates and coaching staff upon his arrival stating, “Ever since I came here, my teammates have made me feel a part of them, as well as the coach.”
He added how seamlessly he was able to understand the coach’s strategy, interpreting it easily on the field. Calafiori expressed his admiration for the relaxed and confident attitude they maintain while in action.
Addressing his experience with coach Mourinho, Calafiori conveyed that it has been instrumental in his growth. “I believe that Mourinho has shaped me mentally. I used to be a child, and now I feel like a man,” Calafiori told Sky Sports.
