Bologna’s coach, Thiago Motta, has addressed the media following his side’s match against Udinese.
The former Italy international expressed some clear frustrations in a post-match press conference picked up by tmw.
Motta stated, “Clearly if we’ve lost something hasn’t worked.” He went on to acknowledge the tactical difficulties his team faced, saying, “We know that when Udinese locks up, it becomes difficult.”
Highlighting where his team stumbled, the Bologna manager said, “We didn’t take good advantage of some corridors, we allowed them too many counterattacks.”
After conceding the lead, Motta confessed, “Everything becomes more difficult, the defeat certainly hurts.” He then hinted at the way forward, emphasizing that “we have to think about preparing ourselves in the best way for the next game.”
