Bologna FC has officially confirmed the acquisition of Mihajlo Ilic from Partizan Belgrade.
A statement published on the club’s website announced the arrival of Ilic from Partizan Belgrade.
The club emphasised, “Bologna FC 1909 confirms the permanent signing of defender Mihajlo Ilic from FK Partizan. The tall, right-footed centre-back, born in 2003, is one of the most promising talents in the Slavic region. Known for his positional awareness and proactive defensive style, he often anticipates play and moves forward. His game-reading abilities and long-passing skills are impressive.”
Ilic has consistently represented the national youth teams and had his first senior call-up from Serbia in October. In the current season, he has excelled at Partizan, starting 18 out of 19 matches as a centre-back.
In November, he also scored his first professional goal against Cukaricki in the Serbian league and made four appearances in the preliminary rounds of the Conference League.
The Serbian youngster is the fifth player from his country in Bologna FC’s history.
