Bijol expected to leave Udinese in January after team shows interest

Jaka Bijol, the Slovenian defender currently at Udinese, has become a prime target for several clubs as the transfer market looms, with Inter Milan particularly keen on his services.

The interest from Inter is further highlighted in today’s edition of *Tuttosport*, which reveals that the Nerazzurri are preparing to make their move in January.

“Marotta, Ausilio, and Baccin are keeping a close watch on the European market, searching for potential free agents,” reports *Tuttosport*. “However, there is a player in Serie A that Inter has been tracking for quite some time, Jaka Bijol of Udinese.”

Relations with the Friulian club are reportedly excellent, and Udinese, currently enjoying a relatively secure position in the league standings, will have the Frenchman Solet available to them in January, having already signed him.

Bijol was close to a transfer in the summer, and his departure in January could be on the cards. The move might be possible through a loan with an obligation to buy. “Inter states that it is too early for such discussions,” *Tuttosport* continues, “but the club is contemplating the possibility, potentially offering the young Palacios on loan as part of the deal, given his limited opportunities in Milan.”
