Could Federico Bernardeschi be returning to Serie A? The Toronto player has been spotted in Italy and has never hidden his desire to come back.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are considering Federico Bernardeschi as a potential replacement for Paulo Dybala if the Argentine makes an exit.

The former Juventus and Fiorentina player, currently with Toronto in MLS, was reportedly seen in the Italian capital in recent days.

“Bernardeschi has expressed interest in returning to Italy, and seeing him in Rome has certainly fuelled those rumours,” a source from Corriere dello Sport commented on Bernardeschi’s potential move.

The report suggests that Roma view Bernardeschi as a strategic addition, should Dybala decide to leave.

While no official comment has been made by the club, Bernardeschi’s presence in Rome is certainly turning heads and raising speculation about his next career move.
