Bayern Munich reportedly cooling interest in Chiesa, shifting focus to alternative target

Bayern Munich look to be tracking Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, as interest in Federico Chiesa cools.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich have already informed Crystal Palace of their intention to trigger the release clause in Michael Olise’s contract.

This will see Olise soon become a new player for the Bavarian club.

Romano elaborated on the situation, stating, “Bayern have communicated their readiness to meet Olise’s release clause. It’s a move they believe will bolster their attacking options.”

This development has seemingly diminished Bayern’s interest in Juventus’ Federico Chiesa.

“Bayern’s focus has clearly shifted from Chiesa to Olise,” Romano added, emphasising the club’s strategic transfer decisions.

As the transfer window progresses, it will be intriguing to see how Bayern’s acquisition of the young talent will unfold and what ramifications it might have for their squad dynamics.
