Barcelona’s Chances of Flick Succeeding Xavi are Rising

Barcelona has lined up Hansi Flick as a potential replacement for departing coach and legend, Xavi, according to a report.

As the season draws to a close, Barcelona bids farewell to Xavi who has elected to part ways with the blaugrana. The biggest contender to fill the vacancy is reportedly German coach Hansi Flick. As reported by Foot Mercato, Flick has seemingly met the Catalan management with his new agent in tow.

Besides Flick, other possible successors to Xavi’s throne include Roberto De Zerbi, Mikel Arteta, Rafa Marquez and Imanol Alguacil. Club President Laporta is said to be quite keen on Flick due to his highly successful track record, which includes an impressive two Bundesliga and one Champions League titles.
