Mario Balotelli could be set for a return to Italian football, this time with Salernitana. The club is keen on finding a star striker, and Balotelli’s name is top of the list, primarily due to the persistence of sporting director Walter Sabatini, who is keen on making an impact on the fight for survival against relegation.
Enzo Raiola, the agent of the former Inter Milan forward, also confirmed the ongoing negotiations. Speaking to Sport Mediaset, Raiola stated that he is actively pursuing a move to bring Balotelli back to Italy, adding further weight to the transfer speculation.
It is yet to be seen whether a deal will be struck, but with the apparent interest on all sides, all signs suggest Balotelli’s return to Serie A could be on the cards.
