Atalanta are targeting AZ Alkmaar’s wing-back Yukinari Sugawara to strengthen the right flank.
While Atalanta’s focus for the left side is on Dorgu, the club’s transfer activities are far from static on the other front. The primary objective for the Dea’s right wing is 23-year-old Sugawara, currently playing for the Dutch side AZ.
According to sources, negotiations are already underway. An insider close to the club said, “Sugawara is our top target for the right wing as we look to bolster our squad depth.”
The Japanese international, noted for his pace and defensive qualities, has been on Atalanta’s radar for some time.
