The future of Victor Osimhen, Napoli’s forward, is under intense scrutiny as both PSG and Arsenal are reportedly interested.
Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport has reported that PSG is prepared to reinitiate their pursuit of Osimhen.
The Parisian club is seeking a discount from Napoli or perhaps a more favourable deal.
“PSG are looking to negotiate a lower transfer fee,” Di Marzio stated during a recent broadcast on Sky Sport.
This move comes as PSG attempts to bolster their attacking options ahead of the next season.
Arsenal, too, are keeping a close eye on the situation, with the North London club having shown consistent interest in Osimhen.
“Arsenal are very keen on Osimhen and see him as a significant addition to their squad,” Di Marzio added.
Osimhen has been a standout performer for Napoli, heightening his allure to these top clubs.
Despite the interest, Napoli are not readily inclined to let go of their star forward without securing a substantial fee.
It remains to be seen whether either club can strike a deal that satisfies Napoli’s demands and secures Osimhen’s transfer.
