The transfer market at Inter Milan is never quiet, and now, according to SportMediaset, a Serie A club has expressed interest in their current forward. Torino, in particular, has turned their attention to this player following the injury to Duván Zapata, which has left them searching for a top-level striker to fill the gap.
The player in question is none other than Marko Arnautovic. The Granata are reportedly keen on the striker, who has had an impressive season so far, scoring a goal in the Champions League against Red Star Belgrade and netting a brace for Austria in their match against Norway.
Torino has targeted this Nerazzurri striker to replace Zapata, who will be out for the remainder of the season due to injury. Nevertheless, the transfer operation to bring Arnautovic to Turin is not straightforward. As a source from SportMediaset states, “The salary is quite high, and that’s a problem we need to address.”
Torino is also considering alternatives, with Kouamé and Nzola appearing as potential options if the deal for Arnautovic proves too cumbersome to finalise.
