The future of Carlo Ancelotti appears to be at Real Madrid, in spite of interest from Brazil. The acclaimed coach is reportedly seeking to extend his contract with the Spanish football club.
According to Spanish sports newspaper As, the Brazilian Football Confederation has been attempting, without success, to persuade the manager of Real Madrid, Ancelotti, to take up the reins of their national team. No agreement has been reached at this time.
Following the Spanish Super Cup, it is expected that a meeting between Ancelotti and executives at Real Madrid will take place to discuss a potential contract extension. This development indicates that Ancelotti’s future may well be tied to the La Liga giants, despite the lure of leading the Brazilian national side. Nonetheless, with negotiations yet to get under way, the situation is still very much in the balance.
