AC Milan is looking to reinforce its defense due to a series of injuries, with the most recent one sidelining Fikayo Tomori for over a month. It is understood that Matteo Gabbia, currently on loan to Villarreal, is top of their priority list.

Gabbia’s current loan status with the Spanish team could make it comparatively easier to bring him back to Italy.
