AC Milan is looking to reinforce its defense due to a series of injuries, with the most recent one sidelining Fikayo Tomori for over a month. It is understood that Matteo Gabbia, currently on loan to Villarreal, is top of their priority list.
Gabbia’s current loan status with the Spanish team could make it comparatively easier to bring him back to Italy. According to the highly respected Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, other notable names on the list of Milan’s sporting director Geoffrey Moncada include Nordi Mukiele and Clément Lenglet.
Looks like AC Milan is taking active steps to strengthen and secure their back line as they grapple with injury issues among their key defensive players.
