AIA, Pacifici shares thoughts on Orsato’s potential move to Arabia

Carlo Pacifici, president of the Italian Referees Association (AIA), has downplayed the rumours about referee Daniele Orsato potentially transferring to the Arabic championship. The comment was made on the sidelines of the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital and the Italian Referees Association for various projects.

Pacifici addressed the situating stating, “I am absolutely not worried about these rumours. Beyond the controversy that it may stir, Daniele Orsato is an integral part of our group and I believe he will have a future within our organization”. This reassurance comes amid speculation about Orsato’s next career move.

Rather than allowing these rumours to overshadow their current activities, Pacifici emphasised Orsato’s continued importance to the Italian Referee’s Association. It implies that no matter which path Orsato chooses, he remains a valued member of the Italian football community.
