Abodi: Simply Saying No to Super League is Insufficient, Football Needs Improvement

Andrea Abodi, the Sports Minister, has addressed the contentious issue of the proposed ‘Super League’ in an interview with Sportmediaset.

Abodi went on record stating that he perceived the Super League as “an opportunity for reflection and improvement of what already exists. If you do not want the Super League, it is not enough to just say no.”

He further emphasized that constant progress in the quality of the sport is needed, specifically focusing on football. According to him, it’s crucial to always put fans first and improve the infrastructure.

However, Andrea Abodi pointed out that this matter isn’t just a national concern, but carries a huge significance at a European level as well.
