Fiorentina have reached a decision regarding their central defender, Pietro Comuzzo, following an approach from Napoli.
According to Sara Meini of Rai Sport, the Viola have rejected Napoli’s advances, ensuring that Comuzzo will stay in Florence until at least the end of the season.
“The offer from De Laurentiis’ club was not enough to convince Fiorentina,” Meini reported, emphasising that the club is determined to hold onto the promising defender.
Comuzzo will remain a key player in the Viola’s defensive line-up, as the club focuses on their current campaign objectives.
This decision comes after speculations were rife about Comuzzo’s potential transfer to Napoli, but it appears the Florence-based club is not ready to part with one of their defensive stalwarts just yet.
