Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo has been loaned out once again, this time to Spanish side Girona.
Following his spell at Fiorentina, the Brazilian finds himself on the move as he continues to be on the periphery of the Juventus squad.
In an official statement, the club confirmed Arthur’s departure, saying the midfielder will join Girona for the upcoming season on a loan deal.
“In order to maintain his competitive rhythm and gain valuable playing time, we have agreed for Arthur to join Girona,” a Juventus spokesperson explained in the statement.
This marks yet another chapter in Arthur’s journey to find regular first-team football after arriving at Juventus in 2020.
The midfielder, whose struggles with injuries and fitness have seen him fall out of favour in Turin, will hope to make a significant impact in La Liga.
Girona will be looking to benefit from Arthur’s experience and capabilities in their campaign.
