Reports suggest Veiga agrees Juventus move as Chelsea deal finalised, Torino arrival soon

Juventus have reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Portuguese defender Renato Veiga.

The deal, which has been finalised between the two clubs, will see Veiga joining the Bianconeri on a straightforward loan for a fee of £5 million.

Importantly, there is no option to buy included in the agreement, meaning Veiga is set to return to Chelsea after the Club World Cup.

A source close to the negotiations confirmed, “The agreement between Juventus and Chelsea is solely a loan arrangement, allowing Renato Veiga to gain valuable experience in Serie A.”

Renato Veiga, known for his defensive prowess, will bolster Juventus’ back line with his international experience and skill set.

Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, was quoted saying by the club’s official channels, “We believe this move will be beneficial for Renato’s development, and we look forward to seeing his progress upon his return.”

Juventus fans can anticipate Veiga’s arrival in Turin imminently, as the clubs finalize the last administrative steps following the completion of the agreement.
