Spanish clubs reportedly eye Krstovic with a huge offer, but Lecce insists the striker is not for sale.

A significant offer has been made to Lecce for their talented forward, Nikola Krstovic, as a Spanish team knocks on the Italian club’s door. However, Lecce’s director of football, Pantaleo Corvino, has reportedly turned down the approach, labelling the Montenegrin player as untouchable.

According to Tuttosport, Real Betis have set their sights on Krstovic and are prepared to present a substantial bid of €15 million. This offer is seen as an attempt to lure Lecce’s president, Saverio Sticchi Damiani, into considering the sale.

Corvino, however, remains firm in his stance. “Krstovic is a key part of our team and is not for sale,” he reportedly stated, as per Tuttosport’s coverage.

The insistence on keeping Krstovic demonstrates Lecce’s ambition and dedication to retaining their promising talents, despite interest from well-established clubs like Real Betis.

As the transfer window approaches, it will be interesting to see if Betis return with an improved offer or shift their attention elsewhere.

For now, Lecce fans can rest assured that their club is steadfast in maintaining its roster of players, with Corvino’s firm rejection echoing their commitment to future success.
