Juventus reportedly eye new defensive addition ahead of January transfer window.

As the January transfer window rapidly approaches, Juventus are beginning to formulate their plans for squad reinforcements. According to reports from *Calciomercato.com*, Juventus manager Thiago Motta has identified Jhon Lucumí as a key target for the upcoming transfer window.

The need for Juventus, often referred to as the *Vecchia Signora*, to re-enter the transfer market is exacerbated by the prolonged injuries of Bremer and Cabal. Lucumí, currently a central defender for Bologna, is a favourite of Motta, who became acquainted with him during his tenure with the Rossoblù.

Bologna’s valuation of Lucumí stands at approximately €15 million. However, it remains to be seen if they are willing to part with such a crucial player mid-season.
