Kean wanted a clause in his Fiorentina contract, reveals DG Ferrari

Fiorentina’s general director, Ferrari, shared insights with Sky Sport before the Conference League match, addressing the situation surrounding former Juventus player, Moise Kean.

“We were and remain convinced about this operation,” Ferrari stated during the interview.

He acknowledged that “It wasn’t a condition we loved, despite it being requested from the other side, but we’ve tried to conclude it in the best way possible.”

Ferrari shed light on the agreement, explaining, “It’s a clause of €52 million that isn’t valid solely abroad: it was made because he wanted this assurance and we wanted him at all costs.”

He further clarified the situation by adding, “If he then wants to leave, he will also have to give the green light.”
