According to today’s edition of *La Gazzetta dello Sport*, the transfer of Wojciech Szczesny to Barcelona would also bring joy to Juventus.
Within the agreement signed by the Polish goalkeeper, there was a clause that comes into effect if he joins a new club.
As a result, the €4 million allocated in Juventus’ budget for their former goalkeeper is set to decrease following his signing with the Blaugrana, making for a significant saving.
Previously, Szczesny had revealed his hope to witness a clash between Barcelona and Real Madrid live.
He certainly did not expect to be playing in such a match himself.
However, barring any unforeseen complications, he is set to take on the substantial legacy of Ter Stegen during the showdown between the two Spanish football giants on 2nd October at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid.
