Ahmet Atiç, secretary and spokesperson for Atayspor, provided insights on the deal that saw Lazio secure the services of Nigerian midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. Speaking to Radyospor, Atiç shed light on the financial arrangements behind the transfer.
“Dele-Bashiru went on loan with an option to buy due to Lazio’s financial difficulties,” Atiç said to Radyospor. “We will receive payment for this transfer, which will be in three instalments.”
“The first instalment has already been paid,” Atiç confirmed.
This move will see Dele-Bashiru initially joining Lazio on loan, with the potential for a permanent move subject to the payment arrangements agreed upon.
