Atalanta reportedly seals Wesley deal from Flamengo, transfer fee revealed

Atalanta is ready to welcome a new signing directly from Flamengo: the defender Wesley.

Atalanta have finally secured their target for the full-back position.

Following a failed deal with Ruben Pulido and a rejected offer from Nottingham Forest for Neco Williams, the club has turned to South American football.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Orobici have signed Wesley.

“We are very pleased to have Wesley join our ranks,” said an Atalanta spokesperson, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

“The negotiations were intense, but in the end, both parties found an agreement that benefits everyone involved,” added the spokesperson.

Wesley has been on Atalanta’s radar for a while, and the club believes he will be a valuable addition to their squad.

His arrival is expected to strengthen the team’s defensive options significantly.

The move demonstrates Atalanta’s commitment to enhancing their roster by seeking talent from different football markets.

Fans will be eagerly awaiting Wesley’s performances in the upcoming season.
