Taty Castellanos appears to be the preferred replacement for Dovbyk at Girona.
Lazio’s sporting director, Angelo Fabiani, has made it clear through an interview with Il Messaggero that the player is not for sale.
Fabiani stated, “He is not for sale, even for 25 million euros. Lotito has already said that.”
These words effectively shut down any possibilities of a transfer, especially as Girona looks to fill the void left by Dovbyk’s move to Roma.
Fabiani was unequivocal in his stance, indicating that Castellanos remains a key part of Lazio’s plans.
As Girona continues its search for a new striker, it seems they will need to look beyond Castellanos.
