Denzel Dumfries, the Dutch right-back, has resolved his uncertainties and accepted Inter Milan’s renewal offer.
As reported by the *Gazzetta dello Sport*, Dumfries, a highly discussed subject in Inter’s transfer market, has finally agreed to the club’s proposal after months of hesitation.
The new contract will extend his stay at the club until 2027, an upgrade from his current deal which is set to expire next year.
Inter Milan’s CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, played a crucial role in the negotiations.
“Denzel has shown great commitment and loyalty to the club,” Marotta said, according to the *Gazzetta dello Sport*.
This renewal is expected to bring stability to Inter’s defence, solving a key concern for manager Simone Inzaghi ahead of the coming seasons.
