Bologna’s Di Vaio indicates they will commence market activities post-Euros but aim to retain all players, including Calafiori.

Marco Di Vaio, Bologna’s sporting director, discussed the performances of Calafiori at the European Championships and the transfer market activities of the rossoblù.

Speaking to Libero, Marco Di Vaio expressed his satisfaction with the players’ showing at the European Championships.

“The lads are really standing out, especially with their assists,” he said.

He highlighted that Calafiori, in particular, had been impressive throughout the tournament.

“We’ve been very pleased with how Calafiori has performed. His contributions have been vital,” Di Vaio emphasised.

The sporting director also touched on the transfer market, hinting at future moves for the club.

“We are always looking to strengthen the squad. The transfer window is an opportunity to bring in players who can help us achieve our goals,” Di Vaio remarked.

He assured fans that Bologna’s management is closely monitoring the market to identify potential new signings.

“We are actively scouting and ensuring that the players we target fit well into our system,” he added.

Di Vaio’s comments underline Bologna’s ambitions to build on their recent successes and continue enhancing the team’s quality.

“Ultimately, it’s about having a balanced and competitive squad,” he concluded.
