According to German media reports, Borussia Dortmund has decided not to offer a contract renewal to defender Mats Hummels.
Hummels’ current contract is set to expire on 30th June, after which he will part ways with BVB.
After discussions with head coach Edin Terzić, the club has opted for a fresh direction.
“Mats Hummels will not be renewing his contract with Borussia Dortmund,” a source close to the club revealed to local press.
It remains to be seen where the experienced German international will take his talents next.
