Riccardo Calafiori’s season at Bologna is turning heads in Serie A, with two top dogs and one Premier League giant expressing interest in the defender.
Calafiori has emerged as one of the key figures during Bologna’s excellent season. The Roman defender, who has been reinvented by Thiago Motta from a full-back to a central defender in a back three, has been garnering admirers, both in Italy and beyond.
As reported by the local edition of Corriere della Sera, Italian powerhouses Juventus and Napoli have been keeping tabs on Calafiori for a while, with Bologna valuing the player at a minimum of €30 million.
Interestingly, the local Emilian headquarters has recently received observants from Premier League’s Tottenham Hotspur. The London club has demonstrated a keen interest in Italian football, as evident from their moves in recent transfer windows.
