Former Italian national team manager, Giampiero Ventura, has recently given his take on Napoli’s January transfer dealings in an interview with Il Mattino.
Ventura, who was once the Azzurri’s chief tactician, offered a keen analysis on the winter player transfers concluded by Napoli. His statements were reported by Il Mattino.
Focusing on the club’s recent market activity, Ventura expressed mixed sentiment. “If we are referring to the operations carried out this year, I say it was a survival market,” Ventura explained to Il Mattino. But his opinions take a different turn when looking towards the future, revealing: “But if it’s projected into the future, it leaves me perplexed.”
