Fiorentina is reportedly working on a double transfer swoop of Andrea Belotti and Gio Reyna, a move aimed at bolstering their offensive line and secure qualification for the next Champions League.
According to ‘La Gazzetta Dello Sport’, Belotti’s transfer is all but official. The Italian forward is set to arrive on loan from Roma until June, with further discussions about buying rights postponed until the end of the season. Fiorentina will cover only a fraction of his salary, a little over a million of the total €2.5 million that Belotti receives from Roma.
On the other hand, American Dortmund player Gio Reyna, despite having some physical and characteristic issues, is believed to possess the technical skills that align well with Italiano’s gameplay. The media outlet also reported that several clubs have shown interest in Reyna. Therefore, Fiorentina faces considerable competition in the quest to secure the young player’s signatures.
