Former Bayern Munich star, Jerome Boateng, is said to be closing on a contract agreement with Italian club Salernitana until the season’s end.
This report is according to Sky Sport, that Salernitana’s Sporting Director, Walter Sabatini, has in the recent hours reached an agreement with Boateng’s representatives regarding the player’s wage.
Sabatini, following the go-ahead from club president Danilo Iervolino, has stated that the German player is ready to undergo medical tests and sign his new contract.
The source adds that “after receiving the green light from President Iervolino, Boateng will be taking his medical tests before signing his new contract”. It is suggested that the finalization of the transfer is expected soon.
