Barcelona is reportedly considering Bologna’s manager, Thiago Motta, to replace Xavi as head coach at the end of the season.
The Barcelona club has already begun preparations for their next term. Following their defeat in the Supercup and elimination from the Copa del Rey, the Blaugrana’s only remaining shot at glory this season lays in the Champions League. These setbacks could lead the management to make the decision to relieve Xavi of his duties.
According to reports by Cadena SER, the leading candidate chosen by Blaugrana to replace Xavi is thought to be Thiago Motta. Both Deco and Laporta appear to be quite impressed with his work at Bologna, placing him at the top of their wishlist. Another potential replacement under consideration is Klopp, who has recently parted ways with Liverpool.
